Influencer marketing

Influencer marketing

Influencer marketing is a form of online marketing in which companies work with well-known personalities, known as influencers, to utilise their large following and reach to promote products or services.

Influencers are people who have built up a large following and reach on social media and therefore have a significant influence on their followers. Companies can engage influencers to promote their products or services, for example by mentioning them in their posts or videos or by presenting products directly.

Influencer marketing can come in various forms, from paid partnerships to free products or services in exchange for advertising. It is an increasingly popular strategy in online marketing as influencers have a high level of credibility and trustworthiness among their followers and can therefore achieve a higher conversion rate.

In neuromarketing, influencer marketing can be very effective due to the social proof effect, where people tend to mimic the behaviour of others and take their opinions and decisions as a guide. When an influencer recommends a product or service, this can increase customer confidence in the product and make them more likely to make a purchase decision.
