Proxy Server

Proxy Server

A proxy server is an intermediary server that acts as an intermediate point between a local network and the Internet. When a client sends a request, the proxy server forwards the request to the target server and sends the response back to the client.

Proxy servers have various functions, including increasing security, improving network performance and saving bandwidth through caching. Some organisations use proxy servers to restrict access to certain websites or to monitor and filter data traffic.

In neuroweb design, the use of proxy servers can improve the speed of the website by reducing traffic between the client and the server. If a proxy server is used as a cache for frequently requested content, this can also reduce the loading time of the website for the user.
